Thanks for joining us here on TheNerdyBomb for another Face Off Recap! If you missed any other Face Off Recap, we’ve got quite a few for you to catch up on. We’re getting closer to Halloween, which means that Face Off is finally getting creepy.
We’ve got six contestants left on the show. Last week, we saw Rachel get axed.
To start, our contestants are all lined up ready to go, in a studio that looks like a Greek coliseum. Michele Burke, our guest judge, walks in. We have a foundation challenge — our contestants must create a victim of Medusa.
Stella wins our foundation challenge, thereby winning immunity this week.
This week’s spotlight challenge is for our characters to use Greek gods to inspire their own characters.
Demeter, Poseidon, Athena, Zeus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Apollo, and Hades are our choices. Additionally, our contestants each have to make a beheaded monster that was conquered by their Greek god.
Our contestants head to the lab, and have 10 hours to sketch and sculpt their creations. As the day progresses, there are some really creative concepts coming together.
Sasha, though, just can’t get a good idea together, and feels that she’s at a huge disadvantage by the end of day one when she finally settles on a concept.
Day Two: George, Drew, and Cig are (of course) all right on schedule with some really awesome ideas.
Day two winds up, and we’re on to last looks, with one hour before the spotlight challenge. Sasha is sure that she’s going to be on bottom, if not eliminated, this week. Scott Wilson (Hershel from The Walking Dead) serves as a guest judge this week.
Let’s see what they’ve come up with!
The judges bring each character forward, and give their critiques. There is no contest this week for top look, as Dina goes heads above every other piece to take the win. Sasha and George are declared the bottom looks this week, with Sasha being eliminated — which is a bummer, since they used their only save on her.
Do you agree with the judges decision? What did you think of this week’s Face Off Recap? Let us know in the comments!
