It’s the night we’ve been waiting for all season. It’s the FINALE of Face Off season 7! It’s sad to say goodbye until Face Off until next year, and each Face Off recap is a treat. Are you ready to see who wins this season? Will it be Dina, Drew, or Cig?! I can’t wait!

We start our finale with the contestants on the stage after the last elimination. McKenzie reveals that they’re going right into the finale.  The spotlight challenge will center around knights. Our artists must create two knights. One which embodies life, and the other, death.

Of course, they get to choose one of the former competitors to help them, and they each have to choose between George, Sasha, and Stella.

Drew chooses George

Cig chooses Sasha

Dina chooses Stella.

But the teams don’t end there. Out comes Rayce, Nicole, and Rashad, and the finalists have to choose from there. So now, our teams line up as follows:

Drew, George, and Rayce

Dina, Stella, and Nicole

Cig, Sasha, and Rashaad

Our contestants and their teams are directed to coats of arms on the wall, and each much choose a coat of arms to align their knights with. Dina chooses an aquatic coat, Drew chooses a deer-inspired piece, and Cig chooses a night-inspired coat.

The teams head to the warehouse the next day and begin sketching and molding. Michael Westmore walks through, wearing his own coat of arms, and gives his critiques to each team. He’s once again, just like a few weeks back, telling Dina to change her approach.

Day two, and the teams are getting to work on their molds. All the teams scramble to get everything done, while also fabricating pieces for the bodies of their knights.

Day three arrives, and Cig is still working on his death mold. Dina is sculpting more pieces for her death knight’s chest plate, and Drew and Rayce are having a disagreement about paint colors. Drew gives in, and moves on to another project.

Time runs out for day three. The teams head to the house, and standing in the foyer are all the contestants families. Tears are shed, encouragement is shared, and then day four arrives.

All the teams start the application phase with their models. Dina has some challenges with her pieces sticking on the arms of her model, so she decides to cover them with moss and rope.

It’s last looks, and Drew just realized he painted some of his knight’s chest pieces the wrong color, but there’s nothing he can do to fix it. Time runs out, and it’s on to the finale. Let’s see what our finalists created!

The knights go through an incredible choreographed battle.  Once the battle is over, the judges do their walk through, and begin interviewing the finalists about their pieces, with each piece getting positive comments.

The judges deliberate, and come back out to announce the winner. Glenn boasts about each piece, but the judges decide that Dina is the winner of Face Off Season 7.

What do you think of the judges decision this season? What did you think of this Face Off recap? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
